For the first time in Russia JSC “MOESK” in the course of reconstruction of substation “Odintsovo” will use Russian-Chinese cross connect equipment. The project is realized in the frames of trilateral agreement, which was earlier signed between IDGC Holding, OJSC, LLC “Eurocontract – High-voltage devices” (RF) and “China XD-Electric Co.” (P.R.China).

While works execution project stipulates improvement of automated measuring and information system of electric power revenue metering and installation of automated management system of technological processes.

Technical innovation has been already delivered to construction site of powering centre. Works on its installation will begin in the third quarter of the current year.

It is planned to complete fully complex reconstruction of substation “Odintsovo”, built in 1938, by 2014. Cost of works on improvement of the acting powering centre will amount to approximately RUR bln. 3.1.

At the moment the company proceeded with finishing of new building for 110 kV cubicle switchgear with SF6 insulation (CS SF6), as well as premises for 6-10 kV indoor switchgear at 110/35/10/6 kV substation (SS) “Odintsovo” in the west of Moscow region.

The result of powering centre modernization will be more than three times increase of aggregate transformer capacity from 80 to 286 MVA, as well as significant increase of reliability and quality of electric power supply of production and domestic consumers of dynamically developing Odintsovo district.
