Results of the Fourth Integrated Competition of Operation and Maintenance Personnel have been summed up in JSC “MOESK”

28.06.2013 ceremonial closing of the fourth Integrated Competition of Operation and Maintenance Personnel of Distributional Electric Grids of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (“MOESK”) took part on the territory of the substation “Gorenki” in Balashikha.

During two weeks, from 17.06 to 28.06, the teams of five branches of “MOESK” – Northern, Western, Eastern, Southern electric grids and Moscow cable grids – persevered in competition for the title of the best. The participants demonstrated their skills on liquidation of disturbance at electric power facility and electric power supply restoration of objects, first- aid treatment for electric injured people as well.

According to the results of the theoretical and technological stages of the competition, the picked team of a branch “Western electric grids” gained the victory.

Summary table of the results looks like this:

1. Western electric grids – 1074.93 points;

2. Southern electric grids – 1059.94 points;

3. Northern electric grids – 972.91 points;

4. Moscow cable grids – 957.65 points;

5. Eastern electric grids – 924.41 points;

Besides, the winners in the nomination: “The best team of 2013 in profession” were defined. “Moscow cable grids” team was considered the best in repairing of cable lines, ”Southern electric grids” team– in repairing of overhead lines and transformer substations. The participants of the team of “Western electric grids” became the winners in the nomination “The best operation and maintenance team” and “The best relay protection and emergency controls team” (RPAC). The title of “The best dispatcher” belongs to the employee of “Western electric grids”.

Medals, diplomas and valuable gifts were presented to the winners. according to the Regulations of the Competition, now the challenge Cup of the fourth Integrated Competition of Distribution Grids Personnel belongs to “Western electric grids”.

At the ceremonial closing of the competition of professional skills presented: Minister of Energy of Moscow Region Mikhail Kruchinin, his Deputy Dmitry Airapetyants, the First Deputy Director General – Director for technic of JSC “MOESK” Anatoly Chegodaev, Deputy Director General for the personnel management Nadezhda Kreneva, Deputy Technical Director for Distribution Grids Andrey Miridonov, and the representatives of Administration of Balashikha District, capital and regional civil society organizations.

Summing up the results of the competition, Anatoly Chegodaev emphasized once more time that the main aim of “MOESK” personnel work is power supply reliability: “If we work as hard as we compete, it will be possible to reduce the time (two hours), required for liquidation of technological disturbances. The team of “WEG” (Western Electric Grids) demonstrated an example of excellent preparations and the team spirit”.

Minister of Energy of Moscow Region Mikhail Kruchinin made a pointed reference to the fact that “MOESK” retains and develops the best traditions of power engineers, and suggested invitation of the other electric grid companies of Moscow Region to take part in the competition. The Minister wished the “MOESK” personnel every success in their work and domestic harmony.

At the ceremonial closing of the competition the results of the creative contest, devoted to the best talisman of the next competition were summarized. It will be an electric ray.

The competition of the personnel of “MOESK” distribution grids takes place every other year and is focused on enhancement of the personnel’s professional qualification level, implementation of up-to-date forms and methods of power engineering equipment control, directed to the reduction of a number of incidents and accidents involving injuries. The degree of qualification and skills of “MOESK” personnel is a guarantee of qualitative and reliable power supply for habitants of the capital and Moscow Region.
