CC (Construction company) conducts check-out tests of new power facilities on substation “Sheremet’evo”.

Specialists of a branch of “MOESK” – “Northern electric grids” in cooperation with a constructor organization LLC (Limited liability company) “Vympelset’story” have accomplished check-out tests of 63MVA transformer and installation of two 40 MVA regulating transformers. The works carried out as part of complex reconstruction of the power facility. As a result, the transformer capacity of the feeding center will increase by a third and will amount to 126 MVA. Two 40 MVA transformers were demounted on 110/10/6 kV SS “Sheremet’evo” and further they will continue working at the other objects of electric grid sector of the northern branch of “MOESK”.

Preparatory works for putting into operation of 10 kV four-section indoor switchgear (IS) are being continued on the substation “Sheremrt’evo”. It has been installed in a new building, designed for IS (indoor switchgear) and substation control house, and outfitted with nominal equipment. New 6kV two-section indoor switchgear will be installed in premises, where 10 kV four-section indoor switchgear was earlier placed.

During the previous stage of reconstruction in the period from 8.05 to 31.05. 2013 110kV overhead lines “Bely Rast- Sheremet’evo”, “Sheremet’evo- Lugovaya”, “Sheremet’evo – Dolgoprudnaya with a branch line” were sequentially placed into new 110kV outdoor switchgear (OS) and connected under the permanent scheme.

The main customer of electric power from substation “Sheremet’evo” is the fastest growing international airport complex of the same name. It’s planned to increase its acceptance rate to 35 bln passengers per year by 2015, to 64 bln. – by 2030.

Technical re-equipment of this feeding center will not only enhance the reliability of power supply for the greatest Russian airport complex, but will also give an opportunity of grid connection for new electric power customers of Solnechnogorsk District of Moscow Region, where about 300 firms are active in industrial and home construction. Reconstruction of the substation is included into the program “Our Podmoskov’e. Development Priorities” by A.Yu. Vorob’yov, Acting Governor of Moscow Region.
