The preparation for autumn and winter period is under way in “MOESK”. Complete overhaul of power equipment on 220/110/10 kV substation (SS) “Yasenevo” has been accomplished the other day in a branch of the company – Central electric grids (CEG).

The maintenance of two boost regulating transformers (BT 1 and BT 3) has been implemented. Besides, the specialists of JSC “Plant on repair of electrical machinery” (RETO) in cooperation with CEG personnel carried out full range of works on technical servicing of autotransformer (AT-1) cell equipment, 220kV sulfur hexafluoride circuit breakers and the replacement of high-voltage bushes of 110kV oil circuit breaker as well. Additional works on technical servicing of AT-1 (autotransformer), which also included trying out of fire-fighting automatic system, repairing of 10 kV circuit breaker and canopies above reactors of RBDG -10 type, installed openly. A soak test of drive of regulation under load was conducted, and a relief valve of the autotransformer (AT-1) was replaced.

“Full range of repair works was accomplished in two weeks, strictly in accordance with the scheduled time. And the detailed checking out of its implementation took place”, - pointed out Pavel Samylov – Deputy Director General – Engineer-in-Chief of CEG. – Scheduled repair of substations equipment with the usage of up-to-date materials and technologies is a guarantee of reliable and uninterruptible power supply for our customers”.

According to Pavel Samylov, carrying out of full range of works of the equipment under repair is the most rational way: it allows to reduce the time of electricity-generating equipment disconnection, thereby without reducing of the power supply quality for customers. A lot of socially significant facilities are powered from the substation “Yasenevo”, including the Central clinical hospital of Russian Academy of Sciences, a children’s asthmatic sanitarium, the fire station “Yasenevo” and others.
