In summary, based on the results of year, the capital region will increase transformer capacity in the amount of 1,450 MVA, of which about 570 MVA will be in Moscow and more than 880 MBA – in the Moscow Region. Besides, more than 625 km of power lines will be put into operation. Total funding will exceed RUR 52 bn.

Among the measures approved in the investment of JSC “MOESK” by the Ministry of Energy Industry of Russia: renovation of equipment with exhausted service life, expansion of routes for overhead power lines of 35 kV and above, replacement of bare wire with self-supporting insulated wire (SSIW), development of communication and remote control systems, relay protection and automation, etc. Special attention is paid to ensure availability of grid infrastructure, shortening of time of connection, including through development of online services for customers of MOESK.

The largest investment projects of this year include completion of the first phase of reconstruction of the capital's 220 kV substation "Presnya", with replacement of two motor transformers of 200 MVA by 2x250 MVA. The purpose is to provide capacity from TPP-12 of Mosenergo, increase reliability of the power supply system of the Central District of Moscow, ability to connect new customers. Implementation of the project will help to eliminate overloading of the feeding center.

Replacement of power transformers was completed at substation "Mayakovskaya": two new transformers of 125 MVA each were installed, which also has a positive effect on electricity supply of the Central Administrative District of the capital.

Reconstruction of S "Grazhdanskaya" is held to provide supply of capacity from TPP-16.

As to the Moscow Area, first of all, completion of the reconstruction of the substation "Sheremet’yevo" should be noted, which will significantly increase reliability of power supply of the same-name airport. In 2013, it is planned to reconstruct the 110 kV S "Aparenki" to improve quality of power supply of the Leninsky District of the Moscow Area and create conditions for connection of new consumers.

The largest facilities implemented by MOESK in the Moscow Area also include designing of the substation "Novodomodedovo." After completion of reconstruction of the feeding center, operating power transformers will be unloaded here, and the city of Domodedovo will get extra capacity for development.

The main factor in formation of plans under investment projects of JSC "MOESK" is focus on future needs of consumers.
