It should be noted that the action was approved by the Temporary Acting Mayor of Moscow S.S. Sobyanin and Temporary Acting Governor of the Moscow Area A.Y. Vorobiev.

Before beginning of the summer school holidays, MOESK organized training seminars for deputy directors of schools, preschool institutions on security and teachers of the Moscow Area, where they were given guidelines and handouts for holding electrical safety lesson.

In the year of the fifth anniversary, the lessons acquired a new format - along with the specialists of the occupational safety department of JSC "MOESK", they are also held by students and teachers of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Safety of the "National Research University" Moscow Power Engineering Institute" ("NRU "MPEI"). Lessons involving students of MPEI have been held in Mytishchi, Krasnogorsk, Liubertsy, Zheleznodorozhny, Balashikha and other cities of the Moscow Area.

A novelty of this year was the fact that Internet users (teachers and parents) have the opportunity to submit an electronic bid application for holding the lesson and give feedback on the already held lesson via the company's website.

Another new novelty of the campaign "Good electricity for children" is a competition of children's drawings, announced this year. The competition is dedicated to related topics: safe handling of electrical appliances, inadmissibility of getting into energy facilities, methods of saving energy. A large number of drawings have already been submitted to the competition, which shows the immense popularity of these events, understanding of their importance. One of the schools of the Moscow Area presented to the contest the impressive anthology of children's drawings and stories – fantasies of pupils about the future of the electric power industry.

The competition is announced from March 1 to December 1, 2013, so everyone can take part in it by sending scanned images via the company's website (the section "Good electricity for children" contains a special column "Competition"). The winners will visit the unique electric show in the "Panopticon of Scientific Entertainment" at the All-Russia Exhibition Centre.
