Branch of JSC “MOESK” - Western Electric Grids has competed the design and survey works for reconstruction of 110/35/10 kV substation “Mozhaysk”, which has worked since year 1957.
To increase reliability of the energy equipment function and favorable conditions creation for the new consumers connection, a renovation of the feeding center will be made in two stages. The entire complex of the arrangements is planned to be made till the end of 2015.
In the course of the first reconstruction stage the power engineers will substitute two existing power autotransformers 20 MVA by two new ones, with the capacity of 40 MVA each, to regulate the voltage level T-1 and T-2 will be equipped by a switching on-load tape changer.
Following stage stipulates a construction of 110 kV factory-assembled switch-gear with SF6 insulation (FAS), with a further transfer of the existing seven power transmission lines 110 kV. Then they plan to erect a new factory-assembled switch-gear (FAS) 35 kV with vacuum circuit breakers and to reconstruct the existing building of the substation control house. The project stipulates the high quality architectural and space-planning design (including a color composition) with due account for the existing surrounding planned building.
“Modern methods of designing and equipping of the substation with the hi tech equipment makes it possible to increase the capacity of an energy source by 2 times, as well to increase significantly the power supply reliability of the city consumers and of the entire Mozhaysk region, to provide fulfillment of the modern norms in the occupational safety and safety of the maintenance personnel, to increase the quickness of control of the substation in different work modes”, – specified Victor Ivanov, the Director of the Western Electric Grids.
