Moscow United Electric Grid Company is enlarging a fleet of the special machinery. At the end of August branch of Moscow Cable Grids (MCG) got a unique measuring laboratory in a configuration of e-vehicle Smith Electric on basis of Ford Transit. The laboratory is meant to localize faults of a cable line in terms of a metropolis. As of today MOESK – is a single grid company of Russia, where a laboratory of such configuration will be used.
Equipment of the laboratories conforms to the technical requirements, which are lodged to it in the process of operation. “According to a schedule of substitution MCG gets permanently the new machinery. The laboratory on basis of e-vehicle – is not a fashionable trend, but rather a next step of MOESK on the way of increase of e-vehicle fleet, – explained Deputy Head of the insulation and measurements service Vitaliy Khudaleev. – We know firsthand about the technical characteristics of this machinery. At the same time the commonality of the equipment makes it possible to form the crew of the laboratory without any trouble and costs to train personnel and to put it into operation at once”.
Network of the fueling stations developed in MOESK and in MCG for electrical vehicles makes it possible to reduce the operating costs for transport. In the Company they have made sure of the electrical vehicles reliability, that’s why they expect that after the first “electro-martin”-laboratory the others will also appear.
Let us recall that over the period of several years JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” has been the leading company in the electric transport use for the industrial goals. MOESK has got a patent for the charging plant for electric transport; the plant has been created within the framework of project implementation “MOESK-EV”. It provides a simple and convenient charging of the electrical vehicles, as well as gives the users the comprehensive information about the charging process. The network of the charging plants, constructed on basis of such equipment, will not only perform the charging functions of the electrical vehicles, but as well will help the power engineers to support an optimal work mode of the energy system in terms of the mass introduction of the electric transport. It’s not a single novelty related with the electric transport. The Company has already a patent for the Software package in the process management by charging plants, which is capable of providing the centralized smart management by the grid of the electro-fueling plants.
