JSC “MOESK” has completed another stage of reconstruction of the substation of 110 kV “Belyaevo” of the branch Central Electric Grids. Eight sections of 10 kV electric equipment were mounted and energized in a newly constructed building of the operational control center.

Besides, the outdoor switchgear of 110 kV was renovated in the course of modernization of the feeding center. Disconnecting device with short-circuit breaker were replaced by gas-insulated. To increase capacity of the substation, two new transformers of 80 MVA each were installed instead of two old transformers of 63 MVA each.

The new board of constant current and storage battery have been installed already. The automatic workplace of the specialist-on-duty has been equipped with the necessary modern appliances. This made it possible to control electrical equipment using the computer. Two new auxiliary transformers have been installed.

“All the works carried out within the framework of the modernization of the substation “Belyaevo” are primarily aimed at improving reliability and quality of electricity supply,” the director of the Central Electric Grids Vsevolod Ivanov said.

The substation “Belyaevo” is located in the south of Moscow. It supplies electricity to such important projects as Oncological Dispensary #4, JSC “Moscow Polymetal Plant “, Institute of Blood Transfusion, Metropolitan, Tsaritsyno Meat Plant JSC “Tsaritsyno”, MIPI (Moscow Engineering and Physical Institute) MEPhI, Hospital of Scientific and Research Center of Psychiatry, Clinical Hospital #38, as well as residential areas Tsaritsyno, Orekhovo-Borisovo, Saburovo, Moskvorechye.
