Number of Applications for Grid Connection to Eastern Moscow Area’s Networks Has Increased 40% against 2012

The number of applications from consumers for grid connection (GC) to the grids in the capital region has been steadily increasing. For 9 months of this year, the branch of JSC “MOESK” Eastern Electric Grids received more than 10,000 applications for GC, which is almost 1.5 time more than in total for 2012. The annual rate for 2012 was 1.33 time exceeded as to the number of concluded agreements: in the past year, the eastern branch prepared and signed 6,119 grid connection agreements; according to the data at 30 September of the current year this number equals 8,177.

According to Denis Fyodorov, Deputy Director for Development and Services Sale of EEG, a steady tendency of increase in the number of applicants among individuals has been formed, the majority of which belongs to the privileged category of consumers. They include, for example, families with many children who have received land plots under the federal and regional target programs.

The number of applicants - legal persons increases as well, especially in the districts of the Moscow Area, which have become attractive for investments. They include the Kolomna District, where the number of applicants for 9 months exceeded 1,900 people. Yegoryevsk and Voskresensk Districts ensured more than 900 applications from customers each; 840 ones were from consumers of the Noginsk District. In the Yegorievsk District, the number of contracts exceeded last year’s figure 1.5 time.

Let us note that in the eastern branch of MOESK, like in the company as a whole, interactive service has been implemented and is successfully used: sms - notification, electronic calculator, applying which the user can independently calculate the cost of grid connection to the electric grid of the company before submitting an application.

Most recently, in mid-July of this year, MOESK offered its customers another new service - application for grid connection in the electronic form. The customers of EEG used this new service as well: at the beginning of September 2013, the first online-applicants of the eastern branch were awarded the GC agreement at the opening ceremony of the Customer Service Centre in Kolomna.

Let us remind that currently applications for GC to the electric grids of JSC “MOESK” are accepted in 33 client service centers, the four of which are located in Moscow, and 29 - in the Moscow Area.

The customers of the company’s branch Eastern Electric Grids are served by seven client service centers in Noginsk, Reutov, Kurovsky, Kolomna, Zaraisky, Schatura, Yegorievsk. Visitors can both apply for GC and get advice of experienced professionals there.
