JSC “Moscow United electric Grid Company” started the final phase of the 2013repair program. Following the results of 9 months, energy specialists have performed the main amount of the works which were completed in accordance with the approved schedule, or ahead of the schedule.
The total costs of the repair program activities since the beginning of the year have exceeded RUR 4 bn. Funding for the year was planned to reach RUR 5.2 bn.
For 9 months of this year, MOESK has performed the works of major repair of power transformers 35-220 kV - 169 pcs., clearing of corridors for overhead power lines of 35-220 kV in the area of 984 hectares of 0.4-10 kV in the amount of 590 hectares, repair of cable lines of 0.4-220 kV - 224 km. Major repair of more than 1,290 km of 35-220 kV lines and 1,960 km of 0.4-10 kV grids was completed. The substations of 35-220 kV went through renovation of 1,560 circuit breakers, electrical transformer substations (CTS (closed transformer substations) and PTS (package transformer substations) in the number of 2,026 pcs., and 489 power transformers of 6-10 kV.
JSC “MOESK” notes that the repair works are made using new high-tech equipment, materials and components, which guarantees reliable electricity supply in the capital region.
