Within the framework of the investment program implementation the power engineers of JSC "MOESK" are reconstructing 35 kV substation "Molchanovo", located in Novaya Moskva, as a result of the renovation the capacity of the feeding center will be increased by more than 1.5 times.
Project stipulates the substitution of two existing power transformers of 6.3 MVA by more powerful ones by 10 MVA. Simultaneously, the reconstruction works of 35 kV outdoor switchgear (OSG) will be performed. Modern SF6 circuit breakers will be installed to substitute the obsolete oil circuit breakers.
By present time, the power and secondary equipment has been delivered to the construction site. A modern building of the indoor switchgear is being constructed, meant for installation of 26 single-cable one-dimensional cells 6 kV of type K-129. The operations control room of the substation will be situated in here, they will also place the protective relay means, emergency control system, communications system, automated systems of the industrial processes management and commercial metering of electric power, as well as a local distribution board and a direct-current board.
By the words of director of branch of JSC "MOESK" – "Novaya Moskva" Yuri Strebkov, use of the modern technologies, equipment and materials makes it possible to carry out the reconstruction of substation "Molchanovo" without the customers disconnection.
The entire complex of the arrangements is intended to be done till the end of year 2015 and is aimed at the power supply quality increasing of the consumers of new districts of Moscow. Besides that, the feeding center renovation will provide the connection opportunity of the new consumers of electric power.
Scope of the allocated funds for the feeding center renovation will exceed RUR 305 mln.
