In 2014, RUR 47.8 billion was allocated for implementation of investment projects of JSC “MOESK” (a company of the Rosseti Group) in Moscow and the Moscow Region. The target figures of the investment programs were achieved and the works were performed in accordance with the approved schedules.
In the past year, 3 440 MVA of transformer capacity was put into operation in the MOESK responsibility area in the Moscow Region, including in order to solve the problem of electrical energy deficit in some localities of Greater Moscow Area. Over 8 610 km of power transmission lines of various voltage were constructed and renovated, which is 39% more compared to the previous year.
In 2014, the key projects aimed at improving reliability of the electrical power supply system and ensuring technological connection of new consumers include renovation of the following substations: 110 kV “Chistaya” (Eastern Administrative District of Moscow), “Zubovskaya” (Central Administrative District of Moscow), “Avtozavodskaya” (Southern Administrative District of Moscow), “Novobratsevo” (Northern Administrative District of Moscow), “Ucha” (Mytishchinsky district) and “Bor” (Domodedovsky district).
Apart from the supplying centers, there were also carried out works at the following sections of transmission lines: 110 kV “Yelokhovskaya – Andronievskaya 1,2”, “Vostochnaya – Cherkizovo 1,2”, “Avtozavodskaya – Yuzhnaya No. 3”, “Serpukhov – Zapovednik”, “Zapovednik – Pushchino”, “Streletskaya – Pushchino”, “Kashira – Streletskaya 1,2”. In order to ensure power output from the combined cycle gas turbine of TPP-20, there was constructed 220 kV cable line “TPP-20 – Kozhevnicheskaya 1,2”.
MOESK believes that, on the one hand, the tariff conditions and economic situation impose on the company certain limitations concerning the amounts allocated under the investment program. On the other hand, it is a possibility to optimize the internal business processes to maximize the effectiveness of operating activities. This year the company will focus on the facilities crucial for ensuring reliability of the electrical energy supply in the Moscow Region as well as on the activities necessary to connect consumers.
