JSC “MOESK” registers an increase in electrical energy consumption in the Moscow Region

According to the data of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (a company of the Rosseti Group), the electrical energy consumption in the area of responsibility of the company in 2014 amounted to 88 764.9 mn kWh. It is 0.62% more than this figure in 2013. It is worth noting that there is an increase in electrical energy consumption across Russia. In 2014, the system operator of UES registered an increase in electrical energy consumption across the country by 0.4% compared to the previous year.

In recent years the demand for the electrical energy in the Moscow Region has been growing. First of all it is due to the dynamic development of the region and construction of new industrial facilities and facilities intended for social needs. In addition, JSC “MOESK” is constantly working on the grids development, renovation of existing substations, construction of new supplying centers and facilitation of the technological connection procedure.

MOESK specialists note smooth functioning of electric grids in its area of responsibility in the Moscow Region. Electric grid equipment of the company worked without major technological disturbances affecting the system reliability.
