The environmental management system of "Rosseti Moscow Region" is confirmed by a certificate of compliance

Within the framework of the program for the implementation of the Environmental Policy of the integrated power grid (hereinafter referred to as the Policy), a certification audit of the environmental management system (hereinafter referred to as EMS) was conducted at "Rosseti Moscow Region" (PJSC MOESK). Its purpose is to confirm compliance of the company's EMS with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001: 2015 *.

During the audit, the certification body evaluated the degree of implementation of the EMS, its effectiveness and the possibility of improvement.

The environmental management system and the certificate apply to IA and 8 branches of the Company.

In preparation for certification, the following activities were carried out:

• Company personnel are re-acquainted with the Policy;
• the policy is being brought to the attention of: persons entering work at "Rosseti Moscow Region"; persons who have arrived at industrial training, practice and on a business trip; personnel of contracting organizations acting in the interests of the Company; during introductory, initial and repeated coaching at the workplace;
• all EMS documents including the Policy are posted on the "Rosseti Moscow Region" website, and the "Ecology" section has been updated;
• normative and methodological documents were developed and put into effect: guidance on the environmental management system; guidance on conducting an internal audit of the environmental management system; instructions for the identification and assessment of the significance of environmental aspects; environmental risk management regulations.

The certification audit was carried out in the Executive Office and in two branches of the company - Moscow High-Voltage Grids and Southern Electric Grids.

During the audit, the company's specialists demonstrated the functionality of the requirements for enterprises during the certification process, such as:

• competence and the availability of appropriate training for employees;
• availability of documentation developed according to the requirements of the standard;
• implementation of relevant procedures;
• preparedness for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations;
• availability of resources necessary for the implementation of the planned activity.

Based on the results of inspections of "Rosseti Moscow Region" units and processes, the auditors concluded that EMS complies with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015, demonstrating the ability to achieve the planned results and continuous improvement, as evidenced by the issued certificate of conformity.
