April 1, 2020 marks the 15th anniversary of the foundation of the "Rosseti Moscow Region"

On April 1, 2005, as a result of the reformation of the electric power industry in Russia through the reorganization of JSC "Mosenergo", PJSC Moscow Regional Electric Grid Company was established. In a little over a year, the company was renamed into PJSC Moscow United Electric Grid Company. Today, PJSC MOESK operates under the "Rosseti Moscow Region" brand as a team of the Rosseti group.

At various stages of the history of the power industry, the "Rosseti Moscow Region" professionally and ahead of time performed the tasks delivered by the times. In 2010-2011 and 2016 they showed labor valor during the elimination of the consequences of the "ice rain". The help was provided to colleagues in Tver, Leningrad, Pskov, Ryazan, Novgorod, and other regions.

In 2014, we provided a reliable, uninterrupted, and high-quality electric power supply to the facilities of the Olympic Games in Sochi, in 2018 - to the facilities of the FIFA World Cup in Moscow. In the heat and in the high mountain region, in the shortest possible time, together with colleagues from subsidiary companies "Rosseti" completed the most difficult task of reconstruction of the power grid complex in Dagestan. And over the years they have solved many more important tasks.

Today, along with the reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers, the team of "Rosseti Moscow Region" successfully fulfills the tasks of increasing the availability of the network infrastructure, timely meeting the demand for technological connection, and creating the necessary power reserve. Partly owing to the efforts of its specialists, in 2019. According to data released today, the Russian Federation for the first time in history took the 7th place in the ranking of the World Bank Group Doing Business in terms of “Connection to the Electric Grids”.

Currently, the consolidation of power facilities and the digital transformation of the power grid complex remain up-to-date areas of work. The specialists of the "Rosseti Moscow Region" are consistently implementing the taken unprecedented decision to remove the main technical restrictions in terms of accepting the power grid assets of horticultural associations onto the company's balance sheet. The implementation of digital technologies is proceeding massively.
