On September the 10th, a solemn closing ceremony of All-Russian Competition for Professional Skills among teams for maintenance of high-voltage electric energy transmission lines of distribution grids of JSC “MOESK” took place at training ground of Penzensky production department of “Penzanergo”, a branch of JSC “IDGC of Volga Region”.
The day of closing became decisive in determination of prize places as that day teams were to pass through the last stages of the competition, due to the stages schedule. Due to general estimation of direction on IDGC Holding and judge commission, the battle for leadership was rather intensive.
As a result, due to decision of the judge commission, the first place was taken by team of JSC “IDGC of Volga” which had gained 1,199.5 points. Team of JSC “Tyumenenergo” became the second (1,122.5 points). Third place was taken by representatives of JSC “IDGC of South” (1,102.5 points).
Andrey Kurin was considered best team’s master while Sergey Volkov became the best electrician (JSC “IDGC of Volga Region”).
First place in “Best Video” was taken by team JSC “IDGC of North-West”.
The judge commission of the 6th stage consisting of Yury Ignatenko (JSC “IDGC of Centre and Volga Region”), Leonid Belousov (JSC “IDGC of South”), and Yury Udalov (JSC “IDGC of North-West”) was considered best judges.
At the last day of the energy tournament, team of Moscow United Electric Grid Company participated in the 4th stage called “Connection of U-110-1 110 kV high-voltage line anchor metal tower in ½ of oval connector using the method of reduction without special equipment (under conditions of loaded capacity)”. The team gained 192 points of 200 maximum. Thus, power engineers of the Moscow Region collected 1,011 points of 1,120 maximum. It gained 5th place at the All-Russian Competition.
Viktor Ivanov, the Head of MOESK team, pointed out that such competitions were a real school of skills. He positively estimated performance of his team having noted that “representatives of the Company improved their results at All-Russian competition of IDGC Holding each year. Competed with 10th place gained in 2008 in Essentuki, and 6th place in 2009 in Nizhnevartovsk, we have risen by one position. Certainly, we won’t stop at the achieved level. We will carry on improvement to show better results”.
