On September the 9th, the Second All-Russian Summer Olympics for power engineers of distribution grid complex completed with final competitions in mini-football and volleyball. It took place on the base of “Klyazma” Moscow Region pension from 7 till 10 September. Thirteen teams participated in the Olympics.

Prize places in overall standing were divided by teams of JSC “IDGC of Volga Region”, JSC “IDGC of South”, and JSC “Tyumenenergo”.

Although the team of JSC “MOESK” did not manage to battle for medals of the purest tint, it was obvious that our sportsmen had potential and good start positions for future achievements.

Our sprinters showed good results. At one hundred meter rate, individual sixth place was taken by Galina Gavrilova with time 15.48. Oleg Nagin took the seventh place with the result of 12.67. He came off the leader by 0.95 seconds.

In a 3000 meter race, Oleg Nagin has shown another good result of 0:10:54. He took the sixth place.

Members of football and volleyball teams of JSC “MOESK” obviously lacked team-work. Only final games showed team spirit and mutual understanding of our guys. And result did not live to wait long. In the last game, volleyball team of JSC “MOESK” confidently outplayed its competitors in two matches.

Generally, the direction of the team positively estimates performance of the Company’s sportsmen. “I’m satisfied with results of the Olympics. We had serious competitors. Nevertheless, our guys come not simply to participate, they strained every sinew”, noted Evgeny Kolesnikov, captain of team of JSC “MOESK”. “We’ve made particular conclusions. We’ve got what to work with, and to what aim to”, - he pointed out.
