Within the boundaries of new program for advanced training, education of another group of engineers on servicing of air lines and transformers substations of distribution grids of Joint-Stock Company “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” completed.

Two-weeks training was carried out in Kolomna at the base of the Company’s branch Eastern Electric Networks. Engineers from Ruzsky, Istrinsky, Kolomensky, Balashikhinsky, Shatoursky, Egoryevsky, Dmitrovsky, Mytishchinsky, and Pushkinsky districts of electric grids studied in study classes, at training base of Kolomensky distribution electric grids, and open specialized training ground of Ramensky distribution electric grids. Training was implemented by experienced experts of the Company’s technical services as well as representatives of such organizations as “ENSTO-RUS”, LLC, and “NILED-TD”, LLC. These organizations are well-known producers of self-supporting isolated conductors.

Main topics of specially developed education course were, as follows, organization of equipment operation and repair at distribution grids, duty access system, requirements to standard and technical documents, reports on repair and technical maintenance of technical grids, rules of digging, elimination of technological failures, diagnostics of electric equipment, reduction of losses, relay protection and automatics, etc. Gaining of theoretical knowledge was followed with practical lessons on development of isolated and non-isolated wiring skills, measurement of the level supports and transformer substations’ protecting grounding outlines prevent current spreading, grounding circuit step and touch measurement, etc.

Education completed with final testing. Afterwards, all participants traditionally met at “round table”. During the meeting, engineers having passed through the training could talk and ask issues existed on production topics, express their wishes on the program to Head of the Department for Personnel Development Sergey Novikov, Head of the Department for Distribution Grids Management Andrey Lonshakov, and Head of the Department for Personnel Internal Education Lyudmila Parfenova. Afterwards, granting of certificated on advanced training.

“We have launched this education program at the end of last year, - said Head of the Department for Personnel Development of JSC “MOESK” Sergey Novikov. – It has been carefully developed taking into account specifics of work at distribution grids of the Moscow Region first of all. It directs at necessary knowledge in the field of air lines and 0.4-6-10 kV capacity transformer substations servicing taking into account new technologies, materials, new methods of work, which appear in electric energy industry, for everyone. I want to notice that the program has proved its effectiveness over the past time. Currently, 90 engineers and operators have passed through education under the program. We always organize meetings in the form of “round tables” with every group at the end of the course to listen to all notices and suggestions. Thus, we operatively react making amendments to the program. In my opinion, this is it what makes it rather fluent and balanced”.
