Within the framework of preparation to autumn and winter loads maximum of 2010-2011. Moscow Cable Grids branch of JSC “MOESK” goes ahead of the repairs program plan.

According to the results of 8 past months of 2010 they allocated more than RUR 914 million to the repairs works, out of which more than RUR 659 million were implemented by the industrial way, without the help of the outside organizations, and over RUR 254 million with the attraction of the contractors. Since the beginning of the year the branch carried out the repairs of 606 transformer and distribution substations together with the planned 599.They repaired the cable lines of 1-10 kV of the total length of 60 km, together with the plan of 57,6 km. They carried out the capital construction of 13,83 km of overhead power transmission lines, together with the current plan of 13,3 km, including 183 bearings of power transmission lines of 0,4-10 kV, in comparison with the planned 182 pieces. 

Moscow Cable Grids did everything to acquire the “Readiness Certificates” – the major document symbolizing the complete readiness of the electric grid economy to successful work in conditions of low temperatures of 2010-2011. To achieve this since the end of the previous winter period the branch has been carrying out the large scale works directed to the provision of the reliable operation of all the used equipment. All the planned activities influencing the going through of the autumn and winter loads maximum were implemented right during the determined time and in some cases even ahead of the schedule.
