On September 7, the team of Moscow United Electric Grid Company went on to participate in Teams Professional Skills All-Russian Competition on Servicing of JSC “Holding” Distribution Grids High Voltage Power Transmission Lines in Penza.
The team took part in two stages: “Substitution of ceramic insulation by the glass one in the tension insulator”, which is the longest and the most difficult at the competitions and “Liquidation of the seat of fire in 35 kV high voltage line protection zone during the tear off and drop of the wire to the ground”, which in reality can be called the most spectacular.
It shall be mentioned that the representatives of JSC “MOESK” feel great responsibility towards the mission they have to fulfill – to defend the honor of the Company. Far ahead of the stage beginning time they come to the test training site carefully check the equipment and talk over all the issues.
The day before September 6, our participants went through the stage called “Foreign subject taking off (surge) from 110 kV overhead line wires with the use of the load lifting mechanism”, having scored 170 points out of 200 possible. On September 7, performance results will be approved later.
According to Mikhail Lvov, JSC “IDGC Holding” Technical Audit Department Head and Chief Judge, “All-Russian competitions is the final stage of the great work which is carried out in the branches and the sister companies during the year. The competitions directly reflect the readiness of our personnel. Experience shows that where we have the system the amount of the mistakes has at least the regressing tendency”.
Besides, such activities let exchange the experience and work out the certain policy from the point of view of new means and mechanisms use.
Mikhail Yurievich highly assessed the level of readiness of Penza training site to competitions both from the technical site and presence of all required infrastructure.
