Moscow cable networks exceeded the target for 9 months of 2010 on absorption of the capital investments and entering fixed assets

The approved plan for 9 months of 2010 on reconstruction and capital development of Moscow cable networks is fulfilled in full volume.

Since the beginning of the year RUR 3billion 858 million have been invested in building and reconstruction of power grid equipment facilities.

Approved plan indicators on adoption of capital investments for 9 months of 2010 are RUR 2 billion 707 million. As of today actually RUR 3 billion 659 million are adopted, that corresponds to 135 % from the plan for 9 months of 2010.

RUR 3 billion 199 million, with the plan RUR 2 billion 780 million are actually entered into the fixed assets for 9 months of 2010.

Entering plan of physical quantities for 9 months of 2010 is 222,8 MVA and 243,0 km. Power actually entered into operation according to the current indicators is already 359,5 MVA and 307,1 km of transmission lines, that exceeds target standards.

Works on construction and reconstruction of cable lines, transformation and distribution substations are performed in accordance with the investment program of the branch. Implementation of the program on reconstruction and capital development of Moscow cable networks assists to supporting of uninterrupted power supply of consumers, satisfaction of needs of new consumers, cost saving, efficiency improvement of the equipment operation.

Till the end of 2010 in accordance with the investment program about 278 MVA of additional power and more than 450 km of transmission lines are planned to be input, more than RUR 2 billion 790 million will be directed to implementation, that will allow increasing reliability of power supply of the Moscow region consumers.
The main sources of finance are own assets and attracted assets of JSC “MOESK” as well as the assets received as payment of the consumers for the technological connection.

Moscow cable networks- are a branch of joint-stock company "Moscow United Electric Grid Company".
Primary activities – are rendering of services on electrical energy transportation to consumers and technological connection to electrical networks.
In operation of the Moscow cable networks branch there are electrical networks 0,4-20 kV and 35 kV with total length more than 66 143 km and about 17 041 distribution and transformation substations, on which transportation of electrical energy for residential buildings and public buildings, municipal facilities, electric transport, industrial enterprises all over Moscow is performed: from the Kremlin till Kurkino and Butovo, including Zelenograd and Shcherbinka.
Total number of personnel of the branch is - 5187 people.
