Special Attention to Energy Objects Safety Issues

A meeting of Antiterrorist Commission took place at Western Electric Networks, a branch of JSC “MOESK”. Deputy General Director of JSC “MOESK” for safety Yuriy Marakin, Head of the Department for Regime Provision under the Department for Safety of JSC “MOESK” Viktor Galkovsky, Senior Engineer of Western Electric Networks Viktor Ivanov, heads of services and divisions of the branch participated in the meeting.

Under the meeting, discussion and approval of “Program for improvement and development of antiterrorist protection of Western Electric Networks objects” five-year program, consideration of issues on terrorist danger prevention and safety of electric grid complex objects at Western Moscow Region took place.

Due to Viktor Ivanov, the Senior Engineer of WEN, “The branch’s safety block regularly examines antiterrorist protection of energy objects located within the responsibility area of the enterprise. Due to results of examination of buildings, constructions, and electric energy objects, tasks on further provision of their technical strengthening and safety are worked out”.
