Within the framework of implementation of the 2010 investment program, the power specialists of the Central Electric Grids – a branch of JSC “MOESK” have completely met the planned amount of works related with construction and reconstruction of energy facilities based on the results of ten months. RUR 1 billion 630 million were spent during construction and installation works at the Moscow facilities according to the target.

Construction of 110 kV power lines (PL) was completed: “TPP -8 – Chagino” of 1.2 km in length, “Kozhukhovo-Chertanovo” with a branch line “Ugresha-Saburovo” - 2 km, “Kosino- Vykhino 1,2” - 3 km, “TPP-23 - Sviblovo 1,2” 220 kV OL (overhead line) – 6.63 km. “Sokolniki” 110/10/6 kV S (substation) and “Semenovskaya” 110/10 kV S were put into operation. As a result of reconstruction works, the power of the substations “Paveletskaya” 220/110/10 kV and “Elokhovskaya” 220/110/10 increased 1.5 time. Reconstruction of “Chertanovo” substation continues.

According to Pavel Veretennikov, Deputy Director for Capital Construction of Central Electric Grids, “Implementation of the investment program will enable raising energy reliability essentially and create an opportunity of additional connection of consumers of the capital to electric grids”.

* Reliable supply of power to the consumers in the territory of the city of Moscow is provided by three branches of JSC “MOESK”. The structure of Central Electric Grids includes 124 substations of 35-110-220 kilovolt (kV), more than 1,144 km of 35-110-220 kV overhead power lines and more than 500 km of 0.4-20 kV cable power lines located within the boundaries of the capital. Moscow Cable Grids – a branch of JSC “MOESK” maintains more than 61 thousand km of 0.4-20 and 35 kilovolt (kV) cable power lines and more than 16 thousand of distribution and transformer substations in Moscow. The responsibility zone of High-Voltage Cable Grids includes more than 800 km of 110-500 kV cable power lines located in Moscow and the Moscow Area.
