Southern Electric Grids - the branch of JSC “MOESK” lays four cable lines of 10 kV in voltage from “Lesnaya” 110 kV substation to the distribution center located on the opposite bank of the Desna River. The length of the site is 8 kilometers. This stage of the works is a part of the large-scale project of electric power supply of the facilities with the improved reliability level.
Now the most complicated stage of design-survey and construction-installation works has been completed. The underground structures and underwater tunnel for cable lines have been laid along the bottom of the Desna River. The level of the river has been lowered artificially and diving works have been held with application of modern technologies of arranging routes in order to implement this project upon agreement with Mosvodokanal.
The facility is included in the investment program of 2010-2011. Its commissioning will enable improvement of provision of consumers of the Moscosky and Leninsky Districts of the Moscow Area with electricity, performance of connection of new subscribers and socially-significant establishments of the Moscow Area.
