According to the Central Dispatching Administration of JSC “MOESK”, last week the maximum of power consumption was fixed on 10 December at 17 o'clock and equaled 15,471 MW at the air temperature of -2 degrees. Last year power consumption on the level of 17.266 GW was fixed at the maximum of temperature minus 28 degrees. This year the maximum of 17.166 GW was fixed on 2 December at the temperature minus 22 degrees, which proves power consumption growth in the Moscow Region.
Despite the adverse weather conditions - rain and snow - the distribution electric grid complex of the capital and the Moscow Area operated steadily; no failures were admitted in the power supply of industrial and socially significant facilities.
