Alexander Uzhanov, Director for Information Policy and Communications of IDGC Holding, OJSC expressed gratitude on behalf of the Holding management to the employees of subsidiaries, and in particular to JSC “MOESK”, for high level of preparation and participation in the International Specialized Exhibition “Electric Grids of Russia – 2010”. The exhibition was held from 30 November till 3 December in Moscow at All-Russia Exhibition Centre.
The management highly appreciated the coordinated actions of the representatives of the structural divisions of the Holding, which participated in the business forum “Distribution Electric Grid Complex of Russia on the Way towards Modernization”, which was held within the framework of the exhibition.
The first experience of participation of IDGC Holding in the exhibition with the uniform exposition appeared to be effective. More than ten negotiations were held at the Holding’s stand and a number of agreements were signed, including those with foreign companies, including Siemens (Germany), LG International (South Korea), Furukawa Electric (Japan), Schneider Electric (France). Let us remind that more than 10 cooperation proposals were received by JSC “MOESK”, among others, already on the first day of its work.
Over 400 companies and organizations took part in the exhibition. They represented more than 20 countries of the world. The representatives of joint-stock companies of power industry and electrification of Russia, electric grid, building, assembly and design organizations, power sectors of the CIS countries, foreign power companies and joint ventures, developers and manufacturers of equipment, designs and materials, power industry specialists of other production sectors acted as exhibitors.
Russian and foreign companies presented new solutions in construction of overhead and cable power lines; tools of diagnostics of overhead and cable PL; systems of protection of overhead and cable lines from overvoltage; devices of mechanization for maintaining overhead and cable lines, and systems and communication facilities used during operation of PL, etc.
Based on the results of work of the exhibition, IDGC Holding was awarded the diploma of the winner in the nomination “The Best Exposition of the Exhibition «Electric Grids of Russia - 2010»”.
