The power specialists of Moscow United Electric Grid Company continue to eliminate the consequences of the damages caused by the adverse weather conditions. The positive tendency was outlined in their work during the last hours. As at 15.00 of 27 December, the line “Sidorovo- Vzletnaya” feeding the substation “Vzletnaya” was restored. Owing to this, the electricity supply of the airport “Domodedovo” was completely restored.

The line “Ochakovo-Konkovo” was connected in the branch of MOESK - Central Electric Grids, and power specialists removed more than 200 trees from it on the expired day, which fell under the weight of ice.

The traction in the Ryazan direction of the Moscow Railway was restored in the east of the Moscow Area owing to start-up of electricity supply at “Vinogradovo” substation. Now it operates stably, as well as all other directions of MR.

“Faustovo” amd “Tsuryupa” substations are also connected in the eastern branch of the company. Owing to start-up of the latter, the electricity supply of the like-named settlement was restored.

“Krasnogorsk-Nakhabino” line was restored in the Northern Electric Grids, which allowed to return electricity to the city settlement Nakhabino in full.

The power specialists of Western Electric Grids eliminated damages at the line “Gribovo-Shakhovskaya”, owing to which power supply of the Shahovskoy District returned to the normal mode.

In total 345 brigades are involved in emergency recovery works, the number of people in them exceeds 1,500 people, including power specialists of JSC “MOESK”, operational companies of IDGC Holding – IDGC of Center and IDGC of Center and Volga Region, contracting organizations.

Now about 200 settlements with the population of about 70 thousand people remain without electricity. The electricity supply in them is planned to be renewed by the company in the near future.
