New restated version of the technological interaction Agreement of JSC “SO UES” with JSC “MOESK” comes into effect

The Agreement of technological interaction of JSC “System Operator of Unified Energy “(JSC “SO UES”) with JSC "Moscow United Electric Grid Company" (JSC “MOESK”) has come into force.

A new restated version of the document was signed by First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “SO UES” Nikolay Shulginov and General Director of JSC “MOESK” Andrey Konovalov.

The main aim of the Agreement is to assure operation reliability of Unified Energy System of Russia – (UES of Russia).

In accordance with the new document System Operator performs single-handedly operational dispatch control within Unified Energy System of Russia including control of process parameters and operation conditions of the power grid facilities of JSC “MOESK” as stipulated by current legislation and regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.

JSC “MOESK” in its turn provides with power transfer with an application of the power grid facilities, functions as process control system and executes control instructions the System Operator and follows its dispatch releases.

The agreement prescribes interaction procedure of the sides according to a set of issues: planning and controlling of operating regime of UES of Russia; repairing and removing from operation of power lines, equipment and devices; disfunctioning of the electrical part of the power system, in emergency and high risk cases of power supply interruption; development decisions distributing power supply complex and performance of technological connection to electricity; regarding operation of the power grid facilities.

Besides that, general requirements to the relay protection and automatic equipment, the emergency control system and as well as requirements to channel arrangements and supervisory control communication were defined in the document.

The old Agreement of technological interaction on operational-dispatching control of UES of Russia d.d. December,5, 2005 ceased to be in force.
