On 5 April 2011, Andrey Konovalov, the Director General of JSC “MOESK” officially introduced Oleg Igorevich Sokolov, the Acting Director General, Director of Southern Electric Grids, a branch of JSC “MOESK”, and Mikhail Anatoliyevich Ezhokin, the Acting Chief Engineer, to the employees of Southern Electric Grids.

In his speech, Andrey Pavlovich noted that ‘the main purpose of the changes in progress is to consolidate the top management and staff of Southern Electric Grids for performing common tasks faced by the Company’. He also expressed hope that ’the top rank managers of the branch represented today is capable to adjust business processes and ensure corporate sustainability of the branch’.

Oleg Igorevich Sokolov was born on October 20, 1962 in Yaroslavl.

In 1984, he graduated from the Yaroslavl Higher Military Financial School. Oleg Igorevich received his second higher education in 2004 at the Institute of Finance, Economics, and Law for Reserve Officers in science of law. In 2008, he studied in SEI HPE State Institute of Management by the program Management of Power Company.

During the period from 1980 to 1993, he served in the army, including service in the Western Military Force in Germany and Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.

Oleg Igorevich has proved himself as a competent and literate leader during his service in the Directorate of the Federal Tax Police Service of the Russian Federation in the Yaroslavl region, and as the Deputy Director of JSC “Krasny Mayak” in Yaroslavl.

His started his career in power industry in 2002 as the head of the Budgetary Control Division of JSC “Kostroma SDPP”, from 2004 to 2005 he worked as the Deputy Director General in
Economics and Finance at the same company.

Further steps of his career growth were as follows: Director in Logistics of JSC “Fifth Generating Company of the wholesale power market” (Moscow), Deputy Director General, or Director of the Nevinnomyssk SDPP branch (Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory).

Prior to the today’s appointment, starting from 2007, he took a position of the Deputy Director General, Director of the “Konakovo SDPP” branch (Konakovo, Tver region).

Under the supervision of Oleg Igorevich, programs were implemented to ensure efficient and reliable power supply at the least production costs. He was honored with a Letter of Gratitude from the RF Ministry of Industry and Energy, Honorary Certificate from the Ministry of Economic development and Commerce in the Stavropol Territory. In accordance with the results of 2010, Sokolov, O.I., was acknowledged as one of the best top managers in the Raw Materials Industry of the Tver region.

Married, grows up three children.


Mikhail Anatoliyevich Ezhokin was born on September 28, 1969 in the Mikhaylovo district of the Ryazan region.

His higher education was received in 1996 at the Moscow State Open University in Power Supply.

Mikhail Anatoliyevich started his career in power industry in 1992 as an electrician in servicing substations of the Podolsk REG. In 1996, he headed the technical sector at the Domodedovo electric grid facilities as the chief engineer. Since 2000, Mikhail Anatoliyevich has been the Head of the Domodedovo district of the electric grids.

For strong professional skills and success in production, he was awarded in 2003 by a Honorary certificate of RAO UES of Russia.

He is a deputy of the Domodedovo municipal okrug.
