On the 30th of April an arrangement on mass bedding of trees took place in town of Stupino, organized by JSC “MOESK” and campaigners – young ecologists of Moscow region “Mestnye”, together with the administration of Stupinsky municipal district. IDGC Holding has been the initiator of the environment-oriented act.
Bedding of trees by the personnel and veterans’ efforts of the electric grid complex and also the dwellers of Stupinsky district of Moscow region was made with the goal of the balance recovery of environment after damage inflicted by forest-turfy fires in July-august and by “icy rain” in December of 2010.
The following people took part in the arrangement the solemn opening of which took place in the Boulevard of Victory in town of Stupino: chief of Stupinsky municipal district Pavel Chelpan, Deputy Director General of JSC “MOESK” – Director of branch Southern electric grids Oleg Sokolov, Chairman of the Union of deputies of city settlement Stupino Yuri Sigalin, chief of Stupinsky distribution zone Valery Akimov and representative of campaigners – young ecologists of Moscow region Dmitry Shalygin. In his speech Pavel Chelpan emphasized that “relations with MOESK power engineers can be called partnership, verified by tests by way of natural anomalies and joint action on landscaping and site finishing of the Southern Moscow region’s territory”.
Totally, 250 hardmaples have been bedded on the three newly created alleys in the course of the arrangement: “…Power engineers, “…Youth” and “…Cosmonauts”. 56 employees of SEG (Southern electric grids) and veterans of the branch, over 200 dwellers of Stupino town took part in the beddings.
Information on each bedded tree and a worker who bedded it will be listed in the centralized data bank of IDGC Holding, OJSC and on a special Internet-map.
