Alley of power engineers appeared in Kolomna

In Kolychevo residential estate of urban district of Kolomna “Alley of power engineers” from 50 pyramidal thuyas was planted by power engineers of JSC “MOESK” branch - Eastern electric networks within the target program of IDGC Holding “Electricity Distribution Complex - for the environment control”. The area located in close proximity to the youth center "Rus’", which is one of the most visited places in the city, became the site of planting. The site was chosen quite symbolicaly: young people will always see an example of respect for nature and the inextricable link between generations. The tree planting was attended by executives and employees of the branch, representatives of the Young workers council, the Veterans Council of Eastern electric networks, and the Movement of Young Political ecologists of Moscow region “Mestnye”. Action was supported by City Committee on Youth, Trust of housing and utilities infrastructure.

According to participants, such events are very important, because the solution of problems of ecology and environmental protection depends now on what each person will do in this direction. In the speeches of veterans at the meeting before the planting of trees the words of gratitude for the younger generation for understanding of ongoing campaign’s importance, a manifestation of active life position and preservation of the power engineers’ traditions sounded. Honoured power engineers, participated in the laying of the first park in this residential estate for more than a quarter of a century ago, was particularly pleased to see the continuation of the glorious traditions of the power grid company.
