Subsidiary Enterprise of MOESK Fulfills Works on Reconstruction of 110 kV Cable Line “Vostochnaya – Cherkizovo 1,2”

Subsidiary enterprise of MOESK – JSC “Moskabel’set’montazh” is carrying out the works on reconstruction of 110 kV cable line (CL), form substation (SS) “Cherkizovo” to junction well, near circuit railway. Here cutting-in of a cable line which is being built will be made into the exiting grid.

Reconstruction stipulates a substitution of an oil-filled cable with section of 625 mm2 by a cable with polyethilene insulation having a conductor area of 1200 mm2.

Total length of the reconstructed area will amount to 2700 m. From them 340 m will be processed by a closed method of the horizontal directional drilling (HDD), and 2,360 m – in the ground. HDD method use will make it possible to lay a new cable in problem places of the route without road carpet dismantlement and green planting cutting down. The cable’s total length with the cross-linked polyethylene insulation, which is in store to be laid, is about 16,5 km. The quantity of the cable fittings for CL installation – is 48 units.

Cable route is laid along the Eastern administrative district of Moscow, in particular, along Gol’yanovskiy passageway, streets: Zolotaya, Semenovskiy Val and Izmailovskoye highway.

Works at the given facility are being carried put within the framework of the investment program of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” to increase the electric capacity passing and to increase the power supply reliability of the capital city’s consumers.

Reconstruction of the cable line, which was started in 2012 is planned to be completed the current year.
