Energy specialists of Moscow Cable Grids – a branch of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” develop service activities in accordance with the company’s strategy.

“Attention of the grid company’s management to the issue is explained by a set of reasons. First of all, provision of additional services benefits customers. When signing agreements with Moscow Cable Grids, third parties receive services of guaranteed quality and strictly within the stipulated time,” Leonid Mazo, director of the branch says. “At the same time, in conditions when the growth of electricity transmission tariffs lags behind inflation, the company receives additional revenue and its competitiveness grows. Finally, it is beneficial for the staff. Highly trained specialists become able to make better use of their competence in practice and increase their official pay. A special regulation has been developed in the branch to solve this problem.”

Let us remind that an order was issued in respect of MCG to provide paid services to other organizations and individuals at the end of December 2012. It approved the business plan for the power equipment repair service. Information about the services is available in the section “services” on the page of Moscow Cable Grids on the website of JSC “MOESK”: http://www.moesk.ru/about/filials/moscow/ # tab-Strvis-link

MCG believe the market needs must be constantly studied and new services offered in order to ensure sustainable economic growth. To do this, the branch has everything it needs: equipment, personnel, and regulatory framework. The list of services will be expanded in 2013.

Potential customers of products and service consumers of MCG can be enterprises, organizations and individuals that use in their work a variety of electric motors and transformers, but do not have repair divisions in their structure. The business plan of JSC “MOESK” for additional services in 2013 will determine the revenue from the provision of services to third parties in the amount exceeding RUR 270 mn for the branch of Moscow Cable Grids. This is twice higher than the actual revenue of 2012.
