In the frames of continuing and improvement of practice of nonfinancial reporting issue, as well as with the aims to increase the Company’s activity transparency the work on creation of Report in the sphere of stable development for 2012 continues in JSC “MOESK”.

Dialogue with the interested parties on topic “Anti-corruption enforcement: problems, instruments and public expectations” took place on 12.04.2013. Director of the Department of economic safety and anti-corruption enforcement of JSC “MOESK” Andrey Nesteruk, Director of the Department of organizational design and personnel Vladimir Kuzhilin, other employees of JSC “MOESK”, as well as representatives of State scientific and research institute of system analysis of the Accounts Chamber of RF, Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Council of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law, “Electroprofsoyuz” and others were present at the arrangement.

013.jpgThe meeting was opened by Director of the Department of organizational design and personnel Vladimir Kuzhilin, who acquainted the attendees with the general concept of Report in the sphere of stable development of JSC “MOESK” for 2012.

Vladimir Vladimirovich pointed out that it is already the sixth report of the Company on the ground of International Nonfinancial Reporting Standards GRI and AA1000S. The report’s aim: to make JSC “MOESK” transparent and answerable to key stakeholders. The Report’s priority topics for 2012 – provision of consumers’ electric power supply reliability and safety, increase of client-orientated approach, effective personnel management and anti-corruption enforcement. The urgency of anti-corruption enforcement topic was marked by top public officials.

Andrey Nesteruk, Director of the Department of economic safety and anti-corruption enforcement, made a report on JSC “MOESK” policy in the sphere of anti-corruption enforcement. In his report he told about anti-corruption enforcement system, which is being established in the Company, presented formation history of the Company’s anti-corruption activity, acquainted the attendees with the main documents, regulating this activity. “Complex system of economic safety provision and anti-corruption enforcement is worked out in JSC “MOESK”. The main work directions – prevention and minimization of anti-corruption displays consequences. Activity indicators in this direction are the indicators of prevented damage amount, compensated damage amount, number of cases of bringing to disciplinary responsibility and others – Andrey Victorovich pointed out. – In 2012 impairment for the sum of more than RUR mln 130 is prevented, damage for the sum of more than RUR mln 175 is compensated”.

In the second part of the arrangement representatives of the interested parties expressed their proposals on the information disclosure in the Report for 2012 to improve its quality.

014.jpgThe meeting in the form of conversation, moderation of which was performed by the Group of Companies “Yes-Strategy”, allowed participants to analyze JSC “MOESK” policy in the sphere of anti-corruption enforcement, discuss system measures, taken by the Company, as well as to form requests for the disclosure of this topic in the Report. Positive appreciation of conversation participants was given to the position of Moscow United Electric Grid Company, which sees and does not conceal the problem, but takes specific steps on prevention, detection and liquidation of the consequences of corruption violations.

Head of the Committee of Power Industry of OPORA RUSSIA Mikhail Kolesnikov pointed out MOESK’s work consistency, good factual material, prepared for publishing in the Report. Mikhail Alexandrovich proposed to present not only quantitative indicators, but also qualitative changes in the Report for 2012. Elena Feoktistova, representative of RCIE’s Council for nonfinancial reporting, estimating highly the preparation work of the Report for 2012 in the whole, proposed to present the Company’s internal work, for example how “Corporate Conduct Code” is realized in JSC “MOESK”.

On the whole, due to the participants’ opinions, the information, which is supposed to be presented in the Report for 2012, demonstrates openness and transparency of JSC “MOESK” activity.
