“MOESK” Delivers Technical Conditions on Grid Connection of Church in Michurin Avenue

Application on grid connection was considered in a branch of JSC “MOESK” – “Moscow cable grids”. According to the application, the church will get 164.8 kW of electric capacity for its needs. Specialists of the branch delivered necessary documentation on grid connection of the building church, strictly acting in accordance with the rules of procedure and on scheduled time.

At present the builders, controlled by specialists of the 20th district of Administration of Cable grids, West Administrative District, are carrying out works under the project. All the arrangements are implemented according to the schedule. Now the installation of the cable line (CL) of 0.4 kV from a transformer substation is being put into practice. The length of the line amounts to about 400 meters.

It’s to be recalled that in Michurin Avenue the greatest church is being built in accordance with the capital “Program-200”, involving of building of 200 rapidly erected orthodox churches. The church was named after the Iberian icon of the Mother of God and designed for 1000 parishioners. The height of the building is 57 meters; the square will amount to 1280 square meters. The walls will be painted white, the domes will be covered with leaf-gold.

According to the specialists’ opinion, advantageous location of the church was taken into consideration while developing of the project: built on a height, at the intersection of Michurin Avenue and Lobachevskiy street, it will become an outstanding architectural dominant of the district. Alexey Zhivaev is working on the interior decoration of the church now. He is Distinguished Artist of Russia, Associate Member of Russian Academy of Arts, who designed the interior of the Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer.
