Specialists of JSC “MOESK” will conduct the overhaul of more than twenty 35-110 kV feeding centers in the east of the Moscow Region in 2013. Repair works at substations will be performed nearly in each of 12 distribution zones that will allow to extend the equipment useful life and also to improve quality of electric power supply to consumers.
At present the repair program performance in “MOESK” branch – Eastern Electric Grids (EEG) is far ahead of schedule, including the arrangements related to clearing of 35-110-220 kV overhead transmission line routes. The performed works area size amounted to more than 90 ha, with the target figure being equal to 44.6 ha.
By efforts of EEG’s personnel 163 breakers of 6-110 kV (while the target figure is 134) were repaired at substations, which will undergo integrated repair this year. They include a feeding center in Elektrostal’ City – “Dugovaya subststion” as well.
Specialists of the contractor “Plant RETO” completed repair of five power transformers at “Monino” substation and “Ozyoru” substation (SS) – one of the EEG’s oldest feeding center, and also at “Fabrichnaya” SS of the Voskresensk distribution zone.
Moreover, the performed repair works are ahead of schedule at the branch’s distribution complex. Starting this year, 95 transformer substations (TS) have been repaired, as compared to the target figure of 85. The large-scale works were conducted in Zaraisk and Shchyolkovo distribution zones: the repair was made at 13 and 11 TS, respectively. Nine transformer substations were repaired in Orekhovo-Zuevsk distribution zone, seven – in Voskresenk distribution zone. In number of four, five and six TS – in the rest of EEG’s distribution zones.
According to Chief Engineer for distribution grids of EEG Sergey Verbitsky, the orderly repair program related to the distribution complex power facilities will make it possible to ensure high-quality and reliable power supply to consumers within the autumn and winter period of 2013-2014.
