JSC “MOESK” Becomes Partner of All-Russian Sport Forum GTO on Red Square

JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (MOESK) took active part in the work of IX Military and Sport Forum “Ready to work and defense”. Large-scale sport arrangement under the order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin took place in the capital from May, 30 till June, 2 on Red Square, in the frames of realization of state programs on development of mass sport and popularization of healthy lifestyle.

Under official assistance of MOESK international match meetings took place at the main ring between teams of state guard services in combat rules of special assignment (Russia - Belarus), Thai boxing (Russia - Thailand) and mix fight (Russia – Kazakhstan). Competitions were held in the frames of tournament “Shield and sword – 4”.

Team competitions of “Federal Guard Service of Russia VS State Guard Service of the Republic of Belarus” took place on May, 31. From each party five fighters of different weight categories came out on the ring. Winners of double matches were determined according to results of three rounds. Match for the team from Russia developed dramatically. In the first two fights representatives of fraternal country won. Then a sportsman form FGS of Russia got the best. In the fourth fight, in the hardest battle Russians tied the score, but in the fifth key fight a fighter from state guard service of the Republic of Belarus was the strongest.

On June, 1 Russia also yielded to picked team of Thailand at competitions in Thai boxing. Rivals occurred to be stronger than Russian fighters in all three weight categories.

Match meeting in MMA rules between the strongest fighters from Russia and Kazakhstan took place at the same day, on the main ring of Forum GTO (Ready to work and defense). Among six representatives of Russian team only one sportsman yielded the palm in category “bantam-weight”. Match result is – 5:1 in favour of Russia.

Teams-winners were gifted with memorable cups “Power of Victory. Shield and sword – 4”. Director of Department for economic safety and anti-corruption enforcement Andrey Nesteruk and Director for grid connection and services development Boris Zakharov presented prizes on behalf of MOESK.

Besides, picked teams of JSC “MOESK” participated in Labor Spartakiad for GTO Cup, organized in the frames of All-Russian sport forum. Competitions were held in three disciplines: football, volleyball and table tennis.

On the whole on 16 sites of Forum “Ready to work and defense” competitions in 43 kinds of sport were held, including ten Spartakiads. Everyone, who wished, could try themselves in physical training and pass GTO complex standards.
