In the past weekend outdoor event, devoted to Youth Day, took place, which was held in the frames of Program of mass cultural events of JSC “MOESK”. Employees of Power Company took part in sport and entertainment program “Great races”, which took place on the territory of sport and entertainment complex “Gusi-Lebedi” in Noginsk.

Approximately 200 people took part in the event. 8 teams were declared to “Great races”, which were formed of young employees of electric grid branches, as well as MOESK’s executive apparatus. Winners were determined according to the sum of points according to results of all competitions. In the final test judges’ assessments for the best team presentation were also taken into account. Power engineers were to detect the strongest in such competition disciplines as relay “Squirrel wheel”, “Five-paired ski”, “Football sumo”, “Caterpillar”, “Tug-of-sausages” and other.

Representatives of direction of JSC”MOESK”, as well as Moscow regional and city committees of “Elektroprofsoyuz” took part in solemn opening ceremony of “Great races”.

Particularly, MOESK’s Director for personnel management and organizational design Natal’ya Grigorovich pointed out in her welcoming speech, that such events make personnel more close-knit, especially taking into account branches’ remoteness from each other.

Chairman of the City Committee of “Elektroprofsoyuz” Svetlana Sverchkova spoke about a significance of power engineer profession and about how it is important to form corporate spirit among young employees. She also thanked direction of JSC “MOESK” for complex approach to the work with youth.

Summary table of results distributed winners of “Great races” in the following way. The third place was divided between picked teams of Executive apparatus and Central Electric Grids. “Silver” was won by the team of Western Electric Grids. The winner of competitions was – picked team “Shatura”, which was formed from employees of Eastern Electric Grids.

A present for all, who gathered on MOESK’s Youth Day, was a performance of show ballet “Arriva”.
