On July, 1st command and staff training exercises in the sphere of civil defense were conducted in branch of JSC “MOESK” – Southern Electric Grids (SEG) for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, fire safety ensuring, as well as people safety and antiterrorism security. Trainings were held on the basis of Serebryanye-Prudy district of electric grids (DEG).
The main goal is – improvement of interaction and information change between MOESK’s power engineers, emergency response services, duty-dispatch services of electric power facilities of city district Serebryanye-Prudy under conditional emergency situation liquidation at substation.
According to trainings scenario, an employee of security department while regular guard tour of the territory of Serebryanye-Prudy DEG finds out a suspicious item, looking like an explosive device. By following the instructions he immediately transmits a message about the discovery to front office of district department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Head of Serebryanye-Prudy DEG and the enterprise’s dispatch service.
A comment: “This is the drill!” while conducting of all negotiations determined training situation. Nevertheless, evacuation of SEG’s employees was held in real time mode. During 30 minutes employees of Federal Security Service Directorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, “Mosoblpozhspas”, ambulance and other services came immediately to MOESK’s power facility to eliminate and recover the supposed situation.
As Head of the second department of the 7th Interregional Department of Federal Security Service Directorate in Moscow and Moscow region Yury Gavrilin, who took part in trainings discussion, pointed out that disadvantages while coordination of joint actions, which were detected during the arrangement, will further help to organize more precisely and optimally work of all services of the district to caution and prevent such cases in real life.
