Works are carried out according to the predicated schedule and will be completed this year.

Vacuum switches provide the easiest and most reliable way of arc extinction. They are more reliable in use compared with oil ones and have smaller size, provide a fast start after blackout, possess switching and mechanical resource providing a significant increase in the turnaround time of operation, fire-and explosion-proof. Furthermore, their use reduces operating costs greatly.

There are many social facilities of the Moscow region (educational institutions, hospitals, clinics, etc.) in the area of responsibility of MOESK, Northern branch, where the works on the renovation of equipment are carried out.

"Updating the switching equipment will increase, reliability and quality of electricity supply to consumers" - said Alexey Irzhak, Director of Northern Electric Grids, the branch of MOESK.
