To date, the breaker is mounted at transformer T-1. Similar activities are carried out under the scheme T-3. In August, after the commissioning tests, the new equipment will be put into operation.
High-voltage beakers (air, oil, vacuum, SF6 circuit breakers) are designed for switching power grid in the normal and emergency modes. Such a classification of breakers shows the composition of media of arc interruption between the contacts of the breaker that occurs when switching high voltages.
Air circuit breakers installed in the 70-ies of the last century, exhausted their services lives, they are physically and morally outdated. New gas-insulated equipment is designed for a service life of more than 30 years.
"Modern breakers are different from the old models by high reliability, compactness and environmental friendliness,” the deputy chief engineer for high voltage networks of Southern Electric Grids Anatoly Rogov said. “They are suitable for installation in residential areas, as they are silent in the event of all turning on and off as opposed to air circuit breakers (typical claps). Design features ease maintenance and enable repairs without prior disassembly of equipment."
110 kV substation "Kraskovo" was commissioned in 1952. The feeding center provides electricity to the city of Lubertsy and the surrounding area.
On the eve of the upcoming autumn-winter period, timely replacement of obsolete equipment will prevent the probability of accidents development, improve reliability of power supply of residents of the southern Moscow Area.
