JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company” (MOESK) is taking part actively in the transport infrastructure enlargement of the capital city. Taking into account the plans of the Moscow Government for construction of the new lines and subway stations, a special attention is paid to provision of the Moscow underground with the necessary energy capacities.

Totally towards year 2020 they plan to construct 160 km of the new lines in Moscow and open 79 new subway stations. In particular, Solntsevo and Novoperedelkino, Nekrasovka, Khovrino, Dmitrovskoye highway, New Moscow and other territories of the city will have the underground.

Within the framework of the general development strategy of the grids, Moscow Cable Grids – a branch of JSC “MOESK” have laid the feeding cable lines (FCL) to subway station “Salar’yevo”. The line length is – is 2.25 km. The works were carried out from May to July of the current year. The line will be put into operation as far as the Underground will be ready to it. In this direction the works are also being carried out to lay FCL to station “Rumyantsevo” with the length of 3.7 km. As of today over 70% have been laid, the accomplishment of the works is planned for the end of August.

Besides that, the last year the cable lines were laid to subway station “Lermontovskiy prospect” and “Zhulebino” with the length of almost 6 km; they have been already put into operation. The construction works of FCL to subway station “Ferganskaya” started in June are in an active phase now. The fulfillment amounts to 80% on the line with the length of 1.75 km. The works completion is planned in September.

Power engineers of MOESK have fulfilled the design and survey works for the lines laying to subway stations “Okskaya” and “Skhodnenskaya”. The industrial issues are being solved as to the project of subway station “Kosino”.

Moscow Cable Grids take part in the development program implementation of the transport complex as to the timely provision with the necessary and perspective energy capacities, – tells Director of MCG Roman Voynov. – In the foreseeable future Moscow is to become a mobile city and conform to the European level of comfort. Particularly to achieve this goal an active transport construction is carried out in the capital city. Today the power engineers are solving successfully the tactical tasks, set towards us by the Moscow Government and by the Executive Board of the company in order to fulfill all the scheduled things”.
