JSC “MOESK” has taken all the necessary measures to provide a reliable and continuous power supply of the 11th international air-space show MAKS-2013. The novelties demonstration of the native and foreign aviation industry is taking place in Moscow region’s city Zhukovskiy from the 27th of August to the 1st of September.

Power supply of the air show is made from 220 kV substation “TSAGI”. Three state scientific centers of the Russian Federation are functioning in the territory of the arrangement holding; they are fed on ten feeders of 10 kV from the base SS “TSAGI”: Flight Research Institute named after M.M. Gromov, a branch of JSC “Tupolev” – Zhukovski flight test and development base and JSC "INSTITUTE OF AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT".

To increase the power supply reliability of consumers within the period of holding of the international air show, a normal power supply scheme from the feeding center is provided in the city, all the planned applications for change of the operation regimes of the substation have been cancelled.

Extraordinary briefing and drill trainings have been carried out with the personnel of the Southern Electric Grids (a branch of MOESK) as regards the actions in terms of the technological disturbances occurrence, influencing on the power supply of the facilities of the air show. In weekend on the 31st of August and the 1st of September a duty of a repair crew was organized. Besides that, as occasion shall require, the Executive Board of MOESK stipulates a possibility of the mobile electric power stations use.
