pr_ves_CHK_noginsk_34.JPGRostekhnadzor’s commission has held the inspection of the course of preparations of energy facilities of the enterprise for the autumn and winter peak load 2013/2014 in the branch of JSC “MOESK” - Eastern Electric Grids (EEG). To date, all of its recommendations have been fulfilled.

Since January of this year to the present time, power engineers of the company’s branch have carried out a large-scale complex of operations. The priorities include ensuring of smooth functioning of 35-220 kV high-voltage lines.

In particular, the works of clearing routes for power lines were 30% over-fulfilled (309.2 ha). The works of replacement of the ground wire at high-voltage lines (28.5 km) and repairs of 35-220 kV transformers (43 pcs.) were fully completed.

According to the annual plan, 7,823 insulators of 35-220 kV OL required replacement. The majority of them - 7,500 - have already been replaced, repairs of 197 35-220kV disconnectors have also been made 90%. 400 out of 6-220 kV 455 circuit breakers have been refurbished at the middle of September. The high -voltage circuit breakers have fully been prepared to operation in the cold season. Energy specialists undertake to repair the remaining 55 switches of 6-10 kV not by the end of the year as it was planned, but by the time of delivery of the certificate of readiness for AWP to the branch.

The distribution grids of the eastern branch are completing replacement of the planned 125.8 km of wire by self-supporting insulated wire (SSIW). 1,468 wooden and old reinforced concrete supports of 6-10 kV are replaced by new reinforced concrete ones. 68 new supports in total are remained for installation before the end of September.

Attention should also be given to the work of EEG energy engineers related with reconstruction of 110 kV OL “Fosforitnaya – Peski” and replacement of wooden supports by reinforced concrete and metal ones, replacement of wire and ground rod. The works have already been completed at 15 out of 20 planned km. Despite the fact that the completion of the works is scheduled for the end of 2013, energy specialists plan to complete them before October 10.

In addition, for the purpose of uninterrupted energy supply of consumers in the AWP conditions, the branch’s employees have developed in advance and ensured scheme- regime activities to support the load of power transformers within acceptable limits.

According to the deputy chief engineer of EEG for high-voltage grids Vladimir Dudikov, the preparation of the branch for the autumn and winter peak loads require investment of RUR 356 mn, which made it possible to perform all the necessary work providing proper quality and in time.
