Additional Emergency Response and Restoration Teams of JSC "MOESK" are ready for work in case of emergency due to adverse weather conditions in the capital region.
Power engineers of JSC “MOESK” received weather forecast in time, it said there would be thunder-storms, hailstones, strong wind gusting to 12-17 m per sec during the day on the 15-th of July and at night on the 16-th of July in Moscow.
For equipment reliable service support and customers power supply without failures, staff shift was organized in all branches and electric grid district of JSC "MOESK" (non-working hours – at home), including for maintenance brigades for PL and distribution zone (DZ) equipment repairs – emergency preparedness is 1 hour.
Operational engineering team was instructed about self-activity at total consumers curtailment, and about possible temporary outage scheduling procedure for electric energy consumers. Employees were provided with all necessary tools, materials and devices. Mobile electric power stations were prepared to connect socially - significant consumers and life-support facilities without any delay.
Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response, local administrations, dispatching center of JSC «Russian Grids» (MOESK majority stakeholder) were contacted and ready to help.
