On July 12, Director General of JSC "MOESK" Pyotr Sinyutin made a business visit to the industrial complex of the Holding Company "ELEKTROZAVOD" in Moscow. Accompanied by the management of "ELEKTROZAVOD", he inspected production capacities of the new plant for production of extra-power transformers and reactors, examined the process of manufacturing energy equipment and operation of the testing unit of the company.

The meeting, which was held within the framework of the visit, considered the issues of cooperation and supply of modern equipment made by "ELEKTROZAVOD" to the energy facilities of the Moscow Region. Let us note that the technological capabilities of the industrial complex ensure production of power transformers of up to 630 MVA for the voltage class of up to 750 kV and shunt reactors of up to 300 MVAR for the voltage class of up to 1,150 kV.

Over the past few years, more than 150 units of transformer and reactor equipment were developed and manufactures by the company’s enterprises for the needs of JSC "MOESK". Deliveries were made for substations "Yadroshino", "Pernatovo", "Troparevo", "Odintsovo", "Vesennyaya", "Krasnosel'skaya," "Pervomaiskaya" and many other energy facilities, which are important for the region.

Pyotr Sinyutin noted during the visit that the Moscow Electrozavod had been established simultaneously with origin of the GOELRO plan (state electrification plan), and had been the first enterprise involved in the domestic transformer production. Moscow energy system was originally developed in the configuration having the scientific and engineering basis for its development.

"Today, when the history of the Moscow energy system is more than a century old, and MOESK is the largest company providing electricity to the capital region, we can safely say that by common efforts of specialists, we successfully achieve improvements in a number of parameters and operating features of power equipment, which is used at the feeding centers in Moscow and the region,” Pyotr Sinyutin continued. “In the current conditions and trends aimed at facilitating the access to the electric grid infrastructure, we are in for further joint work to optimize the company's requirements and technical specifications of the equipment supplied. The end result of this activity will be a significant increase in the quality of power supply and simplicity of connection of consumers to electric grids."

According to the data of the specialists of "ELEKTROZAVOD", the latest equipment is developed and produced especially for the Moscow power system, where unique design and engineering solutions are used in the process of its laying-out and manufacture. "The use of modern materials, reliable components provides a significant improvement of main parameters of equipment, reducing in the weight and size characteristics, reduction in installation and maintenance costs. Close cooperation with Moscow energy engineers enables us to implement large-scale innovative projects to create new types of high-voltage electrical equipment," Leonid Makarevich, Director General of the Holding Company "ELEKTROZAVOD" said.
