Team of JSC "MOESK" - Bronze Medalist of Summer Sport Games of Fuel and Energy Complex

On July 6, II Summer Sport Games were held among companies in the fuel and energy complex of Russia in Moscow with the support of Russia’s Energy Ministry, the team of JSC "Moscow united Electric Grid Company" (MOESK) took part in them as well.

The competitions were held at the stadium "Yantar’". Besides the team of MOESK, the teams of Inter RAO UES, Mosenergosbit, MOEK, OEC, Rosenergoatom, Zarubezhenergoproekt and Energodiagnostika struggled for the title to be the strongest among sports teams of the fuel and energy complex.

According to the participants in the competition, compared with the previous year, memberships of teams were significantly expanded and improved, which gave more intrigue to the competition.

The winners were defined on 11 sports disciplines: volleyball, table tennis, chess, indoor soccer, street ball, relay race, tug of war, darts, sumo, family and special relay.

Games organizers involved fans as well: they could take part in various competitions during major events. Upon completion, special prize draw was held for all the participants as well.

Following the results of the II Summer Sport Games, in a heavy struggle, MOESK employees like in the last year were among top three winners, they took the 3rd team place. "Silver" of the competitions was won by the team of MOEK, the title of winner of the competition was confirmed by the team of Inter RAO UES.

The specialist of the Eastern electric grids Galina Gavrilova was the second in the individual competition in table tennis among women. The staff of MOESK won "silver" defeating opponents in tug of war and family relay. The volleyball team won "bronze".

Besides, the leading specialist of the wages and social programs division of the Eastern branch of JSC "MOESK” Alexander Sazonov received an award for "Contribution to the development of sports movement of the fuel and energy complex".
