Within the framework of the action of MOESK "Good electricity - to children", the employees of the occupational safety department of the Eastern electric grids (EEG) have carried out electrical safety lessons in summer school camps of Noginsk.

IMG_1501.jpgSpecial attention was paid to the rules of use of electricity during the period when children are left at home alone. For the summer vacation time, this situation is particularly relevant. Children together with EEG experts examined cases of possible electrical hazards when handling household electrical appliances, when being in the vicinity to energy facilities in the street, in the field, near water bodies. To avoid accidents during recreation, it is important to remind children about these rules now, when the long summer vacation has already come.

The children were explained the meaning of special signs indicating danger, it was demonstrated to them how one should move when got into a zone of step voltage that occurs on a land plot with broken wires. First-graders and second-graders learned that the rod and smoke from the fire are also the conductor of electric current, and one can get electric shock without even touching the wires.

The training issues were completed with questions for consol8idating the material.

In total, the summer classes "Kind electricity", aimed at prevention of child electrical traumas, were attended by more than 130 children. Let us remind that the action has been carried out since 2009, during which employees of JSC "MOESK" organized activities in more than 500 educational institutions and summer camps in the Moscow Region. The events which are carried out in the framework of the action also received support from the Temporary Acting Governor of the Moscow Area Andrey Vorob’yov.
