Following the results of the first half year of the current year, the supply into the grid of JSC "MOESK" has amounted to 43,993.9 mln. kWh. As compared to the similar period of the past year the scope of the electricity consumption has been reduced by 0.72%.
In the opinion of the specialists of MOESK, the scope reduction of electricity consumption in the company grids, is related, first and foremost, with a warmer weather of the last winter and spring, as compared to year 2013. Moderately cold temperature hasn't resulted in a demand increase for electric power.
According to the data of the System operator of the United Energy System, the scope of the electric power consumption in the first half year of 2014 has also reduced in Russia, on the whole. The reduction has amounted to 1% as compared to the similar indicator of the previous year.
